Lorsque le gamer norvégien Mats Steen décède à l'âge de 25 ans, ses parents pleurent un fils dont ils pensent qu'il a traversé une vie d'isolement. Ce n'est qu'après avoir eu accès à son blog qu'ils découvrent les amitiés profondes qu'il avait tissées virtuellement avant de mourir d'une maladie musculaire dégénérative. Ce qu'ils ignoraient, c'est que Mats avait mené une vie en ligne très active et avait profondément marqué la communauté des gamers.

The film is very invested in proving the validity of the social relationships created in virtual space. To me, that's the easy part. Video games can absolutely be nourishing and substantive and healthy. And I'm not even sure Ibelin confirms that in a smart way.
